Uh? What is that? It always appears at night sine the recent couple of days! Does this mean Orkut gets a better server?
And why does this effect GMail to no longer let you login and blogger is slow, very very slow? Does this mean all three services are on the same server?
We all only can guess! But I hope for a change to the better in Orkut’s case! 🙂 I will cross my fingers! 😀
I don’t know since when this is the case, but as some might remember I am using GMail drive quite often!
A couple of days ago, I wanted to upload a file to my GMail drive telling me that gmail limited attachments size now to 10 MB! What the heck? Now, that GMail seems to be in its end of the beta phase, they cut down features! :'(
Yesterday, I received spam from AIM Mail offering me 2 GB (so same as Gmail which has at the moment 2 GB-something (2396 MB as present) but 16 MB attachment size limit.
They only support IMAP not POP3. I hate IMAP, since it happpens if you get a sync error that in the email client you have a foler that in the web interface you have not!
But who cares? Unfortunately their Knowledge Base sucks, but after doing some searches I found the details to setup the IMAP for browsers.
And tell you what? It didn’t tell me I had to put the password transmission protocol for IMAP to plaintext. otherwise to re-check for new emails, one would have to close and re-open one’s email client all the time!
But what, it works now! 🙂 Now I only need big attachments 😛
The problem:
costumized status of ICQ 5 clients display as “Online” for non-ICQ 5 users.
When they did that in April, (because before April, it displayed costumized status as “away” for non-ICQ5 contacts and all was well!), 5 contacts of mine wrote “Hellooooo, why you don’t reply to me? Did I do anything wrong? becuase they saw me as “online” and not as “away” while I am in a costumized status!
That is horrible!

After 9 years of waiting is the first SuperCPU64 game for the Commdore 64 (in short: C64) computer ever released.
It’s called Metal Dust and it’s a shoot’em up game shipped on either 4 3.5″ DD or 2 3.5″ HD disks.
Me myself has pre-ordered the game in year 2000 and finally ordered it in October 2004.
So, you need a C64 computer and a Super CPU which speeds up the C64 to 20x of its original speed and supplies up to 16 MB RAM (Metal Dust needs 4 MB as system requirement)

It’s absolutely amazing what a speed up device and a 3.5″ floppy lets make a 23 years old computer do, the game is tough, and *cough* I am definately not a good shoot’em up player (I more go for racing games!), but thanks to the hidden “boring” I found by accident (before I even knew it exsisted), I can start with a lot of lives now, heheh 😎
Furthermore an old pal will pop by at the end of July, he is a better player, so we will shoot the ENEMIES INTO DUST! Muhahahaha! 🙂
The most amazing me is how much details they have put into the game, including digitalized power-up speech voice, sfx and sound tracks in all 4 levels sang by the band Wave of Earth.

As mentioned earlier, there are sometimes pretty funny but some are pretty hard to guess. like a HDD would hang but only if you do something for which you need heavy HDD usage. while the normal working nothing will happen, until you make something heavy. (and HDD hangs means Windows crashes).
It happens 2-3 times a day, then stops and my PC works fine again! Until I got the idea to replace the Y power cable! And now my PC works again! =)

As written earlier I fool around with Google Earth.
Today I found a KML file for German geographical data (Austria, Germany, Switzerland). Furthermore a KML file with references to Wikipedia articles. They link to the German articles, but that doesn’t matter much since you can switch to English for every article on the left side of Wikipedia articles! 🙂

Unfortunately there are not much sites located in the near of me but still quite some nice ones! 🙂

Quite interesting and makes me think that my blog doesn’t fit really into any categories and themes she has mentioned in her research. Hmm. Maybe I am just too special then! 😀

Tbanks to Shmanky’s comment I would like to point out Google Maps which maybe (but coule be they use the same data – well, at least it’s faster then 😛 ) have a quite better quality satellite photo than Google Earth 🙂
