Interesting: Despite fact that there is no ICQ Support anymore, I got asked 0 questions about ICQ, but 14 questions about emailing!

The things I want, i.e. my list of wishes is finally on the net. Just being bored and wanted to gather my various wishlists together to one! 🙂

The old wishlists can still be accessed here and here, but they are all united with the The things I want wishlist! 🙂

Not that I think that anybody cares, but it’s yet another feature to my blog! 😛

And surprisingly, many shops have an English version! 🙂

They even have a manual how to add ab “Add to the ThingsIWant” to your browser. At the screenshot you see the manual for Opera, since I am using the Opera browser! 🙂

It’s a Logitech Quickcam Orbit MP with which you can add video effects like full screen avatars and masks! I found only one mailtrader that sells it over here! €135.95 for a webcam! WOW!

Nafcom’s Crap Blog (this blog) has experienced a major overhaul of its template on which I spent the whole day now (including to make it look right on all the big browsers!). So the homepage should less “lag” now and loading majorily faster on any kind of internet connection/country!

I have got the idea by stumbling over Bibi’s Box blog and seeing her blueish Mozilla Firefox RSS button.

Infact she replied in a rush to my inquery whether I am allowed to steal it for my blog and I got her permission. Thanks! 🙂

I recently bought myself Simon The Sorcerer 3D German PC-CD. Since I knew the English version which ran smoothly on Windows XP as far as I could tell, the German version is a true nightmare!

While the English version just has a tiny flicker on the lower right area in cut scene sequences (which is ATI driver related, I think!), the German version is a paradise of errors and glitches.

There is that MultiLanguage Patch. The English version works with it, the German version does not. Means it crashes with “Simon3D.EXE has enountered an error and has to close”. OK, so I decided to uninstall the game and reinstall it again, suddenly there are heavy sound bugs in the game (repeatings, skippings, etc). Nothing helped, but recovering Windows XP from a previous state by using a system restore point!

Then in the game’s book navigation, the mouse pointer falls out of sync with the graphic from the game, means if you click wrong, you suddenly move something on your Windows Desktop.

Rarely, the game switches from full screen into boxed mode without any reason.

On first startup, sometimes it won’t accept CD1 eventhough it’s inserted in the drive.

There are heavy polygon graphic flickers.

And the German manual is the best!

everybody seems to be in that Ajax thing, lately. (Since it’s cool, means it shows you the results in real time while you are typing!).

So, I found by accident an Ajax WhoIs database. Unfortunately it is not as good as my prefered one; Cool WhoIs.

In August last year I found and activated word verfication for comments and Now, it’s also available for hearing impaired people!

However their Blogger Buzz post about it is wrong! The audio files are not played in the language you choosed at your blogspot’s preferences but in the language of your browser’s language (i.e. the language you set in its preferences)!

Anyway, it’s a great thing! 🙂

Finally, after Partly closing the ICQ Ticket Center, it got completely closed now as you can see on the screenshot above.
Furthermore, commenting to the individual Knowledge Base articles is no longer possible!
