Many people ask me why I don’t like IRC:
1) Netsplit.
2) Weird people
3) You are never sure about somebody’s identity really
4) Fooling newbies
No doubt it’s fun to read, but I definately prefer IM, i.e. ICQ where people are more helpful than that!
